Note: in November 1999, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was renamed "Secretariat for Foreign Affairs". Heading this secretariat is Secretary for Foreign Affairs Eric H. Souare. You may contact the Secretariat at:

(Documents bearing the stamp or seal of the Ministry - not Secretariat - of Foreign Affairs after 12/15/1999 are to be considered void.)

Since 1997, the Council has put forth three goals:

1. Establishment of mutual diplomatic ties or cooperation programs with the following:

Micronations:

- Hutt River Province
- Conch Republic
- Principality of Seborga

International Organizations

- UNPO
- World Service Authority
- UN / UNHCR

Other entities

- The government-in-exile of Tibet
- The autonomous region of Born Holm
- The autonomous region of Scania
- The autonomous region of Euskadi
- UNPO governments-in-exile

Other Sovereign Nations

In 2000 and 2001 we will be working with several small sovereign nations. Our position is to keep the names confidential until final agreements are ratified. After phase 1, these nations would issue visas on Lomar passports and accept Lomar citizenship as valid. This should take place within 6 to 18 months (read also our legality/usage document.) Phase 2 will result in the full recognition of the Republic of Lomar by these nations and the opening of an accredited diplomatic mission.

2. Establishment of a Support Fund to assist Lomar citizens in difficulty (medical, legal, financial, international crisis, persecutions)

3. Active cooperation with the relief organizations mentioned in the main introduction pages

4. Grow the citizenship population to the target and official limit of 200,000. We will not petition the United Nations for official status (probably "Observer" at first) until this goal is reached. According to our projections, this objective can be reached by the year 2005.

REGARDING OTHER MICRONATIONS

We deplore the fact that Yahoo has registered a number of "playful endeavors" as micronations on their search engine. There is only a handful of serious micronations and we are entering in relation with them to establish mutual recognition. These are:

- Hutt River Province
- Conch Republic
- Principality of Seborga

Most of them have territorial claims and not all offer the full range of benefits of citizenship with the Republic of Lomar.

Another serious organization is the World Service Authority. The Republic of Lomar recognizes WAS documents and is working to establish high-level diplomatic and functional ties. We recommend acquiring a WSA passport in addition to the Republic of Lomar passport.

The Republic of Lomar is the only micronation committed to:

  • UNPO values and membership
  • obtaining full diplomatic status within 5 years
  • issuing controlled documents to serious citizens
  • issuing controlled diplomatic appointments
  • budget transparency and democratic election
  • assisting, including financially, citizens in need
