The position of the Republic of Lomar is very clear and worth repeating. Lomar citizenship does not give the right to violate the laws and regulations of the local territorial jurisdiction - the dual citizenship and passport cannot be used for fraudulent purposes without prosecution. The Republic of Lomar will collaborate with all national and international law enforcement authorities to ensure compliance. If need be we will forward passport and ID requests based on forged or suspicious documents to local authorities for investigation.

Passports and information kits have been sent to the following entities for review and classification:

  • US State Department
  • US Department of Justice (FBI and Forensic Laboratory)
  • the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C.
  • Interpol
  • United Nations
  • other foreign government agencies

It has been made clear that Lomar officials will collaborate with national and international police authorities should the need arise, i.e. should Lomarian citizens be involved in illegal activities. In 1999, the Republic of Lomar Chancellery informed the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C. that a suspicious individual was trying to obtain a Lomar passport and a working collaboration was established.

We are also submitting protocols to several governments for signature. These will guarantee open channels of communications between our officials and full cooperation in the field of law enforcement should the need arise.
