The
Republic of Lomar is a non-territorial micronation. After proper recognition by other
states, her status will be comparable to the situation of the Sovereign Military Order of
Malta, i.e. a non-territorial entity with functional sovereignty and subject of
international law. Her "territorial imperium" will be limited to embassies
established in other nations granting formal diplomatic recognition to the government of
the Republic of Lomar.
The Republic of
Lomar does not claim any territory or part thereof claimed or administered by other
nations and therefore has no transnational disputes.
When asked
"where is the Republic of Lomar located_", several answers are possible:
1. as a
"legendary" territory in the Arctic, located between Iceland and Siberia
2. in Sub-Saharan Africa where we are trying to obtain a sovereign enclave
3. on the Internet, as a non-territorial (virtual) micronation.
